Bear Hug infusions are specialty products that a high quality Barbados rum and then infused with all-natural flavors. In many cases, the actual flavoring agent is still in the bottle, continuing to flavor the spirit as it sits in the bottle. Note the label stating "bottled at 21%" [our emphasis] since the continuing infusion can adjust the final proof when poured. They are intentionally lower proof spirits relative to other rum products. Bear Hug Mango rum uses "juicy, sweet, sun-grown" mangoes to infuse a rum that is imported from Barbados. One can see real mango slices floating in the spirit and imparting color and flavor.
